Welcome from Principal Boehm

 

Hello wonderful Henderson community!  I feel incredibly honored to be the principal of Henderson Elementary.  I truly believe that this school does want to inspire ALL students to wonder, explore and embrace challenges.  It is the belief in ALL kids that drew me to Henderson and it is my passion to make sure that we deliver that promise to our families.  

I started my career in education here in 27J by student teaching at Brighton High School.  After teaching in Florida for 4 years I was able to return to 27J where I taught middle school social studies for another 6 years. I moved from the classroom into an instructional coach role and spent 4 years as an assistant principal, most recently at Vikan Middle School.  I am so incredibly excited to continue my journey as the Principal of Henderson Elementary.  I believe strongly that ALL students can achieve and I feel blessed to be part of the 27J community that shares the same belief. 

When I'm not at school I spend as much time as possible with my wonderful family who helps me to stay very active.  I love watching my sons, Camden (8) and Paxton (6), participate in a variety of sports and grow as learners themselves.  I enjoy running and being outside with my supportive husband Erik and truly love this adventure we are on together!
